The Kankakee County Soldiers is the Professional Basketball Team located in Kankakee County, Illinois. We are affiliated with the International Basketball League (IBL). We are one of over 20 teams from across the country that come together to represent the IBL. With the rate that the IBL is growing and the popularity of skills and talents that it is developing, it will soon be the premier basketball league under the National Basketball Association (NBA).
As we settle here in Kankakee County, our goal is to reach the community, not only with high energy games of basketball, but with leaders and role models. We exist to bring entertainment and leadership to the families and youth in Kankakee County. Our games are fast paced and full of energy with scores in the 100 plus range.
In efforts to become part of the community, our new home is located at the Hidden Cove Sportsplex. Here at the complex, not only do we make it our home for basketball, but we come to make and impact with the youth. We also work with local schools offering our services not only as athletes, but most importantly, as mentors to over 7,000 kids. We strive to offer inspiration and direction to our youth. We want to encourage you to join us in this effort.
